Introducing: Youth Homelessness Program in Benton-Franklin Counties!

LCYC is excited to announce our Youth Homelessness Program (YHP) is now serving Benton-Franklin Counties!

The Benton-Franklin YHP will provide FREE civil legal services to youth and young adults between the ages of 12 and 24, who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Youth and young adults can receive help with civil legal issues, including, but not limited to: navigating child welfare, emancipation, name changes, gender marker changes, protection orders, landlord/tenant issues, and immigration. Check out Youth Homelessness Program, Benton-Franklin Counties for more details.

The Benton-Franklin YHP will be expanded through one of LCYC's new attorneys, Sarah Zimmerman. Sarah was born and raised in the Tri-Cities, specifically in Kennewick, and attended higher education as a first generation student. Throughout COVID-19, Sarah has connected with community partners in the Tri-Cities area to collaborate and provide holistic services for her clients. To address common community needs, Sarah also created reference guides with available resources in Benton-Franklin counties.

To connect with Sarah, please contact her at sarah@lcycwa.org or at (206) 494-0323 x716.
