LCYC would like to recognize and thank the numerous social workers that play a positive role in the lives of young people, supporting each youth’s self-determination, equipping youth with tools and resources to meet their basic needs and advance their stated goals.

Applying an anti-racist approach to expanding access to justice requires LCYC to assess not just the availability of our services to a diverse group of young people, but to inquire whether our legal supports are reaching and effectively serving young people disproportionately experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

LCYC is partnering with the King County Bar Association’s Housing Justice Project (HJP) on a new initiative to prevent evictions among young adults through the Young Adult Eviction Prevention Program!
