LCYC is thrilled to welcome three new Staff Attorneys to our team of advocates advancing young people’s access to justice: John Salois, Annie Chung, and Sarah Zimmerman.
John Salois comes to us with years of experience supporting youth and families as a legal advocate and social worker, most recently providing community based, holistic legal services to young people struggling with homelessness in Portland
Annie Chung is a trailblazing attorney who is demonstratively committed to youth of color and LGBTQ+ youth and dismantling the racist and prejudiced systems they encounter. Like many of our attorneys, she will work in multiple programs, supporting youth in child welfare cases and those struggling with homelessness in King County.
Sarah Zimmerman will be launching her legal career with LCYC, alongside our expansion to the Tri-Cities. Sarah is excited to bring necessary legal services to her home community, expanding our Youth Homelessness Program to new partners and young people in crisis throughout Benton and Franklin Counties.
