Hola! My name is Joana Morales, and I am a first-generation woman of color and a rising 3L law student at Seattle University. I chose to come to law school because both of my parents were immigrants who were discriminated and marginalized because of their status. I want to pursue a career in immigration to advocate for the rights of immigrants and undocumented folks and to ensure that they are given the justice they deserve. I want to show people of color that they belong in the professional world, and I am so excited to give back to my community!
