cOLE sTORY (JD), aTTORNEY

Cole Story is a Attorney for LCYC, supporting the Youth Homelessness Program in King County. Cole was born and raised in Seattle, and he is a proud Garfield HS alumnus. Cole graduated with a B.A. in Public Policy Analysis from Pomona College in 2015, becoming the first in his family to graduate from college. Cole was a Scholar for Justice at Seattle University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2024.

Cole has dedicated his career to centering the voices and experiences of young people, and he is excited to continue working with young people in his community. Prior to law school, Cole served as an AmeriCorps member to support students from his HS alma mater through the college application and decision process. He also empowered young people to educate and activate themselves and their peers in matters of social justice during his work with The Service Board. Cole credits his experiences working with young people for guiding him and giving him the tools to fight through life challenges during law school.

Cole is an avid basketball fan, snowboarder, and soup enthusiast. Cole also loves a game night, and he enjoys playing spades, dominoes, rummikub, settlers of catan, and other games with family and friends.
