ANGELIQUE rODRIGUEZ, Legal Assistant
Angelique (she/her/ella) is a Legal Assistant with LCYC's Youth Defense Program. She was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, where she went on to receive her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Washington.
Angelique strongly believes that policy and law impacts every aspect of people’s everyday lives, and that these impacts are by no means equitable among marginalized communities. In her work, Angelique strives to center the experiences of people of color, immigrants, and overall underserved communities. Angelique is passionate about using law and policy as tools to empower and protect the youth that she works with.
Outside of work, Angelique enjoys drinking a good cup of coffee, reading, and going on walks with her partner.
