Katie Heldt, Legal Intern
Katie Heldt grew up in Eugene, Oregon. She studied at the University of Oregon and the Universidad de Sevilla for her undergraduate education and moved to Cusco, Peru to serve as an academic advisor, work with young mothers, and teach dance. She moved back to the Pacific Northwest in 2019 and began working in immigration law. She is a rising 2L at Seattle University School of Law and hopes to become an immigration attorney specifically for youth and children. Katie spends her spare time running in the forest with her two beloved pups, Naya and Daysi, teaching dance, climbing, and riding bikes.
