Hillary Larsen (J.D.), ATTORNEY
Hillary Larsen (she/her/ella) joined LCYC in August 2026 as a member of the court-appointed team advocating for children and youth. She brings more than a decade of experience working with immigrant children and youth fleeing violence, neglect, and abuse through her work with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). In 2025, Hillary also served briefly as an Assistant Attorney General, representing the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in dependency proceedings.
Hillary is committed to building trusting relationships with each client and providing thoughtful, trauma-informed advocacy. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Hillary earned her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, in 2012 and her B.A. from the University of Washington. She is licensed to practice law in Texas (2012) and Washington (2017).
Outside of work, Hillary enjoys spending time with her family including two dogs. She can often be found on the sidelines of youth sports cheering on her children or taking a walk and enjoying nature.
