Jasmin Morales, Legal Assistant
Jasmin (she/her/ella) is a Legal Assistant with LCYC on the Youth Homelessness Program and the Immigrant Youth Team.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a minor in Hispanic Studies from Pacific Lutheran University and later earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington Tacoma in 2024. She is a proud first generation college graduate, and is grateful for the educational journey that has led her to this work.
During graduate school, Jasmin interned with the Social Services Unit at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, where she discovered her passion for working at the intersection of social work and legal services. Before joining LCYC, Jasmin worked as a case manager supporting caregivers, children, and youth, advocating for clients and connecting families with resources.
Supporting others has always been deeply personal to Jasmin. Growing up, she often wished she and her family had access to the kind of support and advocacy that she now has the opportunity to provide to others. That experience inspires her commitment to building meaningful relationships, advocating for her community, and making a positive impact, especially within the Latinx community. Jasmin is excited to be part of LCYC, where she can continue learning while supporting children, youth, and families.
Outside of work, Jasmin enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones and pets, journaling, going to the movies, hiking, listening to music, and all things Disney, especially Stitch.
