Sierra Qualles, attorney

Sierra Qualles (she/her) is a Dependency Attorney in Pierce County at LCYC. Born and raised throughout Southern California, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts at UCSB and Master of Arts at Otis College. In fleeing the LA heat, Sierra moved to Seattle to enjoy the rain, dark winters, and Juris Doctorate that she obtained at Seattle University School of Law.

Sierra’s goal in the legal profession is to represent and empower marginalized communities that often have to navigate oppressive systems on their own. She has had the honor of working with the LGBTQ+ community through QLAW, Washington workers through the Worker’s Rights Clinic at Seattle University, and as a legal clerk at Cedar Law supporting students experiencing challenges and harms in their educational environments. Sierra discovered her love of working with youth as an educator in LA and is dedicated to uplifting the voices and needs of children.

Sierra is a poet and a lover of films, video games, cats, and spicy foods.
