Katrina Lind Kubat, Attorney

Katrina Lind Kubat (she/they) is a dedicated children’s advocate and attorney committed to guiding individuals through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. With a foundation in public service as a former domestic violence and child abuse prosecutor, Katrina brings ample courtroom experience, trauma-informed care, and a steadfast belief in justice for vulnerable populations. She has handled hundreds of high-stakes cases involving protection orders, dependency matters, and civil commitments for individuals facing serious mental health challenges.

Over the course of her career, Katrina has witnessed heavy cases but she meets each case with a calm, clear, and unshakable resolve. While she’s known for her serious and composed presence in the courtroom, it’s common to find her sitting cross-legged in the hallway, playing with toys and gently comforting children she would later lead through testifying about the most painful experiences of their lives. Her strength lies in creating safety and trust in even the most emotionally charged circumstances.

Katrina is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law, where she was honored with the Dean’s Merit Award, Diversity in Law Award, and the Jean Risely Education Foundation Award. She also earned the Pro Bono Honors Award for dedicating over 120 hours to public service while actively pursuing her studies.

Outside of law, Katrina likes to host movie parties and snuggle with her two cats that she affectionally refer to as her co-counsel. Katrina focuses on building trust with her clients and ensuring they feel heard, protected, and empowered no matter who they are or where they come from.
