Yohana valdez, Supervising immigration ATTORNEY
In 2025, Yohana Valdez founded Yohana Valdez Law Firm, a practice dedicated to honoring human dignity and expanding access to justice. Her focus is on children, youth, and survivors of abuse of all ages. Prior to launching her firm, Yohana served as a managing attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), where she defended children fleeing violence and exploitation for eight years. She brings expertise and sensitivity to her work while leveraging strong community ties to address critical gaps in legal services.
Outside of her legal work, Yohana is an enthusiastic, if novice, soccer player and recently learned she loves doing sprint distance triathlons.
